Code of Conduct

I welcome your comments to anything I say related to the post itself. I will not show comments that are off topic.  Please try to keep your words short and absolutely no longer than the post itself. If you have much more than that to say I would encourage you to start your own blog.  I will also not allow others to use my blog to vent their bitterness.

As long as you comment by the code below and the conditions above I will post them for others to see. It is not my desire to argue with you about who is right or wrong so I will not get into those types of discussions.

  •  I will express myself with civility, courtesy, and respect for every member of this online community, especially toward those with whom I disagree—even if I feel disrespected by them.  (Romans 12:17-21)
  •  I will express my disagreements with other community members’ ideas without insulting, mocking, or slandering them personally.  (Matthew 5:22)
  • I will not exaggerate others’ beliefs nor make unfounded prejudicial assumptions based on labels, categories, or stereotypes. I will always extend the benefit of the doubt. (Ephesians 4:29)

 * Since I could not have said it better, this code of conduct is borrowed from the Sojourners blog community. See the link to their site in my blogroll.
